Le Marche; Acqualagna

We start closest to our own home. Acqualagna is a town in its own right with not much tourists. Here one can unwind and soak up the stunning environment. It has a small town centre with some charming little shops and terraces where you can enjoy a lovely caffe or cappuccino. Everyone instantly feels at home in this town. The special thing about Acqualagna is that it counts 30 restaurants for 4.400 inhabitants. This has to do with the fact that Acqualagna is respected as one of the truffle-capitals of Italy. One can indulge in the delights of different assortment of truffles all year round. In almost every restaurant there are always dishes available where this delicacy is used as an ingredient.
